I do not claim to account for everyone's experiences. While I have spoken to plenty of other people about this and listed out their experiences, this is not all-inclusive.
While some people were open to sharing their experiences, most tend to completely shut down or panic when I bring up sexual harassment.
And I can’t blame them. In hindsight, I can see how this can be a pretty traumatising conversation to have.
I know that people get accused falsely. Many companies have a knee jerk reaction when someone complains of sexual harassment and they just fire the accused. It is so much worse when someone is falsely accused on social media.
I understand this. However I do not speak about this because I have not personally experienced it and do not know anyone who has been falsely accused.
I do however know men who believe they have been falsely accused despite plenty of evidence to the contrary. Fuck you all, and get off that high horse please.
Some of this is humour. Some people may find my sense of humour offensive. But it has helped me cope with this better so please bear with me.
